We have an immediate opening for a DAY SHIFT/Part-Time - Housekeeping Attendant - T, W, Th - 8:00am to 4:30pm, to work for our EVS Department in the hospital. This is a great opportunity!
Candidate must have experience using various cleaning agents/solutions, and able to prepare them as directed. Must also be able to understand and follow verbal/written work order and instructions, and document as required. Experience in a medical office or hospital environment, including operating rooms, is preferred but not required. Must be reliable and able to work cooperatively with all staff, physicians, patients and visitors.
Principle Functions:
Performs all tasks in accordance with established procedures and appropriate sanitation standards. Cleans and services the Hospital and outlying areas as assigned, moves furniture, equipment and supplies around Hospital departments, and performs a variety of heaving cleaning duties to maintain the Hospital in an orderly and sanitary condition. Dry and wet mops floors, walls, furniture and the like. Performs related service tasks such as cleaning spills, washing windows and other glass, making patients beds and the like. Performs terminal cleans of surgical arena.
