Part-Time Staff Pharmacist (Licensed Pharmacist)

Join a locally owned independent community pharmacy where patient relationships, quality care, and teamwork come first. We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Ohio-licensed pharmacist to join our growing team. This position offers regularly scheduled part-time shifts with additional PRN opportunities available to cover vacations, holidays, and increased business needs.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently while ensuring patient safety.
• Counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and wellness initiatives.
• Administer immunizations in accordance with Ohio law (or willingness to become certified).
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, controlled substance compliance, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on personalized patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and electronic prescription systems is preferred.
• Immunization certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• New graduates and experienced pharmacists are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Consistent part-time scheduled shifts.
