What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Chemical Dependence Residence Counselor position at Unity House?
High School diploma or GED required. Chemical dependence experience or knowledge preferred. Associates degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with persons with addictions/mental illness required. Demonstrated computer competency required. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work in a changing environment, be flexible, work in a team and demonstrate knowledge of and ability to work with internal/external stakeholders. Must be able to be reached by phone/pager and have a vehicle to transport and complete agency business. Valid NYS Drivers License in accordance with Agency policies; ability to travel.Schedule part time less than 30 hours per week, per diem, on call. Benefits include:
