What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing and Crisis Case Manager position at Unity House of Troy?
The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building supportive relationships with survivors while helping them achieve long-term housing stability and increased safety. It combines immediate crisis response with ongoing case management, making it both advocacy-focused and service-coordination focused.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide case management services to domestic and sexual violence victims who reside in our permanent housing program
Work closly with victims and survivors at varying levels in their trauma
Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning
Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services
Assist with navigating various systems based on individual needs
Assist with victim and survivor crisis intervention for “walk ins” inconjunction with appropriate staff.
Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities
Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends
Promote a work culture of inclusion and belongings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 1 or more years of related experience preferred, a valid NYS driver’s license and acceptable driving record; and reliable transportation

Salary : $19 - $20
