- Education: Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN school of nursing with current AR licensure.
- Training and Experience: Three years’ experience in clinical practice. Experience in healthcare infection control, associate health, and data analytics desired.
- Job Knowledge: Understanding of the principles of asepsis, epidemiology, microbiology, the development of policy and procedures, patient care practices, group dynamics, and knowledge of adult education principles necessary. Basic understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines of Arkansas Department of Health, CIHQ, CDC, OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies desirable.
Basic knowledge of Quality Improvement in the healthcare setting. Demonstrates ability to compile relevant data sources into meaningful reports for use in performance improvement and decision making. Strong organizational skills. Responsible for training and support with Meditech Expanse.

Description
Responsible for coordination and compliance regarding infection control practices and surveillance activities and infection control policy and procedures. Responsible for coordination and compliance regarding associate health issues, immunizations, TB skin tests. Develops and implements policy and procedures. Processes associate injury reports and Worker Compensation Claims.
Responsible for preparing statistical reports, meeting minutes, orientation and in-service related materials and typing policies, procedures, and other related correspondence. Demonstrates the ability to compile relevant data sources into meaningful reports for use in PI and decision making by the Director and administrative staff. Other duties as assigned.
The associate is expected to demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills that support the organization customer service strategy. Flexible work hours required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
