What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infection Preventionist RN, Full time position at Unity Health White County?
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current AR licensure OR graduate of an accredited Medical Technology Program with a Bachelor of Science.
2. Training and Experience: Three years' experience in clinical practice. Experience in a variety of clinical specialties desired.
3. Job Knowledge: Understanding of the principles of asepsis, epidemiology, microbiology, the development of policy and procedures, patient care practices, group dynamics, and knowledge of adult education principles necessary. Basic understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines of ASHD, CDC, OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies desirable.
