Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the inpatient rehabilitation unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care coordination
Develops and implements effective nursing strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes and satisfy patient needs
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Conducts regular rounds to ensure patient satisfaction, comfort, and safety
Monitors and reports on unit outcomes, including quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and core measures
Provides leadership and guidance to staff, including orientation, education, and mentoring
Participates in hospital-wide committees and initiatives to improve patient care and operations
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
