Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Head of Investor Relations to lead capital raising and investor engagement for Unity Growth Fund. You will own the full fundraising lifecycle — from identifying and cultivating investor relationships to closing commitments and managing ongoing communications. This is a full-time remote position, based in or around New York City, with periodic travel to our Reston, VA headquarters and to industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Raising Develop and execute fundraising strategies to raise substantial capital for fund vehicles. Identify, engage, and build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. Manage investor due diligence and close commitments with a smooth onboarding process.
- Investor Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors. Provide regular updates on fund performance and portfolio developments. Address inquiries promptly and organize investor meetings, events, and conference calls.
- Network Expansion Continuously expand your network within the investment community to source new LPs. Represent Unity Growth Fund at industry conferences, events, and meetings to strengthen our brand and attract new investors.
Required Qualifications
Proven track record of raising significant capital for venture capital or private equity funds. Extensive experience in capital raising and investor relations, preferably in the technology sector. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. A robust network across high-net-worth, family office, and institutional investment communities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
