Position Overview
We are a FedEx Ground linehaul contractor seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to run scheduled overnight routes moving trailers between distribution points. This is a no-touch freight position with drop-and-hook operations only—no loading or unloading required. Enjoy steady work, predictable routes, and daily home time.
What You’ll Do
- Drive a tractor-trailer on assigned overnight routes
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after each run
- Follow all DOT guidelines and safety procedures
- Stay in contact with dispatch regarding route status
- Keep accurate logs and trip records
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL (Doubles endorsement required)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years (or 5 years within the last 10 years)
- Safe driving history (minimal violations/accidents)
- Ability to pass background screening

- Comfortable driving overnight routes
