Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, onsite role at our office in Charlotte, AR. In this role, the Senior Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the budget process. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for financial decision-making and will play a critical role in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Proficiency in software tools such as accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling
- Detail-oriented approach to work with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Understanding of compliance with financial regulations and experience with audit preparation and processes
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial data clearly
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, with experience in the financial technology or payment processing industry considered a plus
