The Opportunity:
Unity Environmental University seeks individuals interested in consulting as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to revise courses in Restorative Leadership and Collective Resiliency. Candidates may have expertise in one or both areas, with relevant experience in applied psychology, positive psychology, leadership, resilience, systems thinking, trauma-informed practice, or related fields. All courses are delivered asynchronously online in 5-week terms and incorporate an applied project that spans the subject matter of the course. SMEs will work collaboratively to develop the curricula with the program director and learning experience designer.
We are seeking candidates interested in harnessing the capabilities of AI while developing online courses in the following areas: interdisciplinary approaches to restorative leadership, collective resilience, applied positive psychology, organizational and community development, trauma-informed practice, and systems change.
Qualifications:Qualifications
Do you have the skills?
· An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in Applied or Positive Psychology, Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Conflict Resolution/Restorative Practice, or a closely related field. Relevant interdisciplinary backgrounds are encouraged.
· Specific expertise, experience, and or graduate course work in restorative leadership, collective resilience, applied psychology, organizational or community development, trauma-informed practice, systems change, or related areas
· Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
· Ability to write student-facing instructions with clarity.
· Willingness to embrace the potential of generative AI tools to improve learning and/or workplace performance.
· Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
· Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.
