Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in engaging with community activities and social interactions to promote independence and social skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors to inform care plans and support team collaboration.
- Administer medication following prescribed protocols when necessary and authorized.
- Use effective communication skills, including American Sign Language if applicable, to facilitate understanding and connection with clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, incidents, and client progress in compliance with agency policies.
