Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in Sanford, FL. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in space planning, design concept development, and creation of construction drawings. Responsibilities also include specifying and sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), collaborating with the design and construction teams, and ensuring design plans align with project goals and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Residential Design to create functional and aesthetic layouts. Cabinetry and millwork knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Architecture and Construction Drawings; ability to interpret and develop technical documents
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Prior experience with kitchen & bath design or internship in a design or architectural firm is a plus
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools
