Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, Barista to join our team at Unity Coffee.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing a variety of coffee and tea beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
Requirements:
-Weekend Availability required
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for retail transactions
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
