What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Technician position at Unity Chicago?
Seeking a responsible, reliable, motivated individual to execute an in-person and live streamed Sunday service with full AV set up. This position works on a team of trained professionals to set up and break down equipment, and is responsible for in-room technology and livestream, troubleshooting and analyzing to improve processes and service.
SUNDAY SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
WHEN: Sunday mornings, approx 10:AM - 1:PM, for a livestream production that begins at 11:30am.
WHAT: Work on a great team that handles all A/V for Sunday productions (in person and live streaming full one hour production: presenter / speaker, 4 piece band with 1-2 vocalists). Using one lav, one podium mic, plus singer and musician mics. Responsible for operating and maintaining all audio equipment; to handle full set up and strike (with assistance), monitoring and mixing sound during production, troubleshoot as needed quickly and efficiently.
HOURS: approx. 3 hours/ week on Sundays, in-person. This is a PAID position. Rate is commensurate with experience.
