Behavioral Health Clinician – IOP

Full-Time or Part-Time

Services may be provided in person at our Holbrook location, or virtually through telehealth, or through a combination of both, based on program needs, credentialing, client needs, and clinician availability.

Overview

Unity Care LLC is seeking a Master’s-Level Behavioral Health Clinician to join our growing outpatient behavioral health team and serve as a therapist and group facilitator within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

This position may be structured as full-time or part-time and may include in-person and/or virtual services, depending on program needs, credentialing requirements, and clinician availability.

The clinician will conduct behavioral health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic groups, provide individual counseling, and manage an assigned caseload. We welcome candidates at either the independent or associate licensure level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health intake and diagnostic assessments using appropriate ICD-10 diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s presenting needs, diagnosis, goals, and level of care.
• Facilitate structured therapeutic groups within the Intensive Outpatient Program.
• Provide individual counseling as clinically indicated and according to the client’s treatment plan.
• Carry and actively manage an assigned IOP caseload.
• Review and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT-informed skills, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma-informed care, and psychoeducation.
• Monitor client progress and identify changes in clinical needs or level-of-care requirements.
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations using established crisis-intervention and de-escalation procedures.
• Coordinate care with the psychiatric provider, case management team, Behavioral Health Technicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide clinical guidance to Behavioral Health Technicians assisting with groups, as appropriate and within the clinician’s scope of practice.
• Deliver services through telehealth when appropriate while maintaining confidentiality and applicable informed-consent requirements.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation within the EHR.
• Participate in required orientation, training, clinical meetings, and supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, addiction counseling, or another related behavioral health field.
• Current, active Arizona behavioral health license in good standing through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
• Eligible licenses may include:
• LCSW or LMSW
• LPC or LAC
• LMFT or LAMFT
• LIAC or LAAC
• Associate-level clinicians must maintain an appropriate documented supervision plan.
• Experience facilitating behavioral health, substance-use, psychiatric, IOP, or PHP groups strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 behavioral health diagnoses and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms.
• Strong clinical documentation skills and experience working with EHR systems.
• Knowledge of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT skills, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation preferred.
• Must meet applicable credentialing requirements for Unity Care LLC’s payer network.
• Must successfully complete required healthcare background and exclusion screenings.
• Valid Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required or ability to obtain one prior to providing services.

Associate-Level Clinicians

Unity Care LLC welcomes associate-level clinicians, including LMSWs, LACs, LAMFTs, and LAACs. Qualified clinicians may receive supervised clinical hours toward independent licensure under a documented supervision plan with an appropriately licensed clinical supervisor.

Pay: $34.00 - $50.00 per hour
