Middle School Teachers (Part-Time) Multiple Content Areas Available

Job Summary

We are seeking part-time (T/TH and W/F class schedules) HARD WORKING, DYNAMIC, and DEDICATED Teachers (Multiple Subjects/Content Areas) to inspire and educate students across various grade levels (6th-8th). These roles offer an exciting opportunity to foster a positive learning environment, implement engaging curricula, and support diverse scholar needs. The ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a passion for student development. CANDIDATES MUST BE TEAM PLAYERS, SELF-STARTERS, DETAIL-ORIENTED, ABLE TO MANAGE A CLASSROOM, ABLE TO CARRY OUT AND FULL EXPECTATIONS, FLEXIBLE and WILLING TO LEARN THE UNITY MODEL.

Duties

• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across various subjects
• Implement instructional modifications to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs
• Manage classroom responsibilities effectively to create a positive and disciplined learning environment
• Assess scholar progress through formative and summative evaluations
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavioral updates
• Integrate educational technology tools to enhance teaching effectiveness and scholar engagement
• Mentor scholars by providing guidance on academic challenges, extracurricular activities, and personal development

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Middle School Bob Jones University Press curriculum content areas or willing to learn
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation tailored to diverse classrooms
• Excellent classroom management skills combined with behavior management expertise
• Proficiency in educational technology integration and learning management systems
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and cultural backgrounds
• Skilled in working with scholars from diverse backgrounds, including those with special education needs
• Effective communication skills for parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration
• Background in sports coaching or physical education enhances ability to engage students physically and socially (if required to coach)
