Role Expectations & Policy Enforcement
All Unitus Security Officers are expected to operate in strict alignment with client-specific post orders, company policies, and operational standards.
This role requires:
- Consistent enforcement of property rules, company policies, and client directives
- The ability to execute duties as assigned without deviation, based on site-specific expectations
- A commitment to professional conduct, appearance, and communication standards at all times
- Understanding that all assignments are client-driven environments, and flexibility is required to meet operational needs
Failure to adhere to policies, post orders, or client expectations—including attendance, uniform compliance, conduct, and job performance—may result in progressive discipline up to and including separation of employment.
Requirements

- Must present a professional demeanor and maintain a service-oriented presence
- Ability to build camaraderie and trust with team members, property management, tenants, and residents
- Ability to lead and direct officers during assigned shifts when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to patrol assigned property and remain alert and engaged
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must comply with all uniform, grooming, and appearance standards as a condition of employment
- Must adhere to attendance and call-out policies, including proper notification procedures
Employee Duties
- Engage with tenants, guests, and clients to create a positive and professional experience
- Enforce property code of conduct and site-specific rules
- Coordinate with law enforcement and property management as needed
- Execute assigned post orders with consistency and attention to detail
- Maintain active presence and visibility throughout the property
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 3 years of prior security experience; 1 year of supervisory experience (Required)
- Hospitality or customer service experience (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (Preferred)
