Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a Scale Attendant to manage/handle linen at one of our prestigious client locations in New Haven, CT.
Schedule: 4 days per week, Thursday - Sunday. 7:00am-6:00pm. Must have weekend availability.
Compensation: $17.00 - 20.00 /hour. The salary range for this position is $17.00/hour to $20.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors

Duties And Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)
- Collection and distribution of linen
- Counting, recording, and inventorying merchandise
- Preparing and organizing pack-out carts/baskets for distribution
- Weigh incoming and outgoing carts/baskets
- Building carts and baskets as needed
- MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week
- Must be able to lift loads of linen and push carts filled with linen (50 lbs)
- Responsive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Superior communication/customer relations skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in a service/operations environment a
