Job Summary: The Vice President of Construction will lead and oversee all aspects of construction operations within the Brightspeed project of the Company’s telecommunications sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and deep industry expertise to drive growth and efficiency across multiple projects and regions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive innovation in construction practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Manage large-scale telecom infrastructure projects, including fiber optic, data centers and network facilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
- Oversee Brightspeed project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Build and mentor a high-performing construction team, including project managers and field supervisors.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
- Represent the company in industry forums and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks related to construction timelines, resources, and compliance.
Qualifications:

- 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within telecommunications.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects and large teams.
- Strong knowledge of telecom infrastructure, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in fiber deployment, data center and emerging telecom technologies.
