The Senior Outside Plant Engineer (OSP) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering designs produced by both internal teams and external engineering partners as well as individual designs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by verifying that all engineering work orders comply with customer specifications, company standards, and industry best practices. The Senior OSP Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying quality trends and providing regular feedback to engineering leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
- Complete outside plant designs that include fielding, designing and drafting.
- Review individual OSP engineering work orders and provide detailed QC markups in accordance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.
- Complete QC checklists for each engineering work order and return findings to the responsible design engineer in a clear and constructive manner.
- Track recurring quality issues, identify trends, and collaborate with the Engineering Manager to recommend corrective actions or training opportunities.
- Maintain documentation of QC results and ensure accurate recordkeeping for audit and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external engineering partners to resolve quality discrepancies and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of OSP Engineering, including:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and deviations from standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple work orders, and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency with OSP engineering tools, drafting software, and documentation systems (preferred but not required).
- Valid driver’s license.
