Accounting Assistant

NQA, a Kiwa Company, has an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to support our Accounting and Payroll Departments. This position will ensure timely processing of vendor invoices. Focusing on the receipt of invoices to approval ensuring that correct and complete invoices are processed in accordance with policies and procedures. Working closely with the finance and operational teams to resolve queries and provide information to support business objectives. This position is part-time (20 hrs/week) and in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review invoices submitted ensuring approvals are obtained prior to processing
• Provide batch invoice data files and supporting documentation on a weekly basis
• Investigate and respond to queries raised by colleagues and vendors, including sub-contractors
• Upload billing and service information into customer portals
• Maintain log of customer contact history including unresolved queries
• Enlist the efforts of senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process via customer portals
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Weekly reporting to direct supervisor
• Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Finance function

Required Qualifications:

• Prior success working in a remote setting.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Accounts Payable knowledge/experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, goal oriented.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• 2 year college degree preferred but not required assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Finance function

Salary : $20 - $25
