Primary Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial analyses in support of benefit strategy, trend projections and network optimization for a book of large, national employers
- Build relationships with Underwriting, Client Management and Sales partners to benefit our mutual clients
- Support and eventually lead internal and external presentations, translating highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, finance, data science, economics or other quantitative field
- 3 years of experience working in a corporate environment, including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
- Actuarial, insurance, healthcare or finance work experience
- Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts and graphs in MS Excel
- Proven excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex financial and actuarial topics to non-expert audiences
- Proven critical thinking skills that allow you to push through the data and find effective solutions
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) designation, or progress towards actuarial credentials
- Experience working in finance or the health care industry
- Experience working in employee benefits consulting
- Experience working with PowerBI, R, and/or Python
- Experience building quantitative models in SQL (Structured Query Language), SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
