The Speech Language Therapist will be responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability. This position may also provide coverage at other affiliated locations as needed.
Location: Hillsdale Hospital in Hillsdale, MI
Schedule: This full time, nonexempt position will work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, in the hospital (skilled nursing unit and inpatient), outpatient, and home health as needed.
Rehab Department Hours: Operating hours for the hospital are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, and Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Outpatient hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm. Software systems utilized include Agile (Outpatient), Brightree/Matrix (Home Health), NetHealth (SNF), and CPSI (Inpatient).

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing
Preferred Qualification:
- 1 years of acute care experience
Hospital Requirements (may be needed):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Covid Vaccine - Full
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
