The Specialty Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Other key duties include processing prior authorizations, assisting with financial aid, updating clinical data, and supporting administrative tasks. The liaison collaborates closely with the CPS Patient Care Services team and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work a 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
About the Facility: Jackson - Madison County General Hospital is a 642-bed non-profit tertiary care center servicing 17 counties in West Tennessee. The facility has 6 main treatment centers: Heart and Vascular Center, Cancer Center, Neuroscience and Spine Center as well as Emergency Services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC
About the Pharmacy: The Specialty Pharmacy utilizes PioneerRx. Pharmacy is open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active applicable state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTCB/CPhT
- 1 years of pharmacy experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
