Primary Responsibilities:

• Software engineering skill set - api development, automation, db deployment strategies
• Solid knowledge in Exadata or Exadata knowledge is desired
• Work experience in Oracle 19c
• Thorough knowledge of Dimensional Data Modeling and traditional ER modeling and leveraging Performance Impacts on DWH and OLTP system
• Support OPRS pre pay systems
• onboard and support client implementations and client migrations
• facilitate new infrastructure refresh activities and database upgrades
• Support all teams in our matrixed organization... R&D, PIDI, PSM, and all business related functions from a db perspective

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PLSQL
• 2 years of experience with Unix/Linux knowledge including Shell scripting
• 2 years’ experience managing multi-terabyte Oracle database environments
• 2 years Data Warehouse experience
• 2 years OLTP experience
• Experience with and willingness to support 24x7 production environments
• ASM and RMAN Experience
• Experience with Oracle Performance Monitoring & Tuning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare experience
• Solid Understanding of Oracle Optimizer, optimizer parameters, parsing mechanism and how optimizer influences in controlling, stabilizing execution plans
• Accomplished in handling Performance Benchmarking and configuration, of in-memory database tuning and other middleware
• Solid working knowledge of security controls required to meet health care regulatory requirements
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
