Optum is a global organization that delivers care, aided by technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. Here, you will find a culture guided by inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health optimization on a global scale. Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together.

Senior Community Care ('SCC') is designed to support senior living communities to provide care for their residents. Our approach is designed to reduce friction for members by addressing their physical, mental and social needs according to their personal care preferences and the location they desire for care.

SCC currently serves over 900 senior living communities and 5,000 IE-SNP members. One of the unique features of our model is the introduction of a care navigator to each member. The care navigator acts as the 'quarterback' of the care team, with a primary focus on connecting members to doctors, coordinating care needs - including member benefits - and ensuring members receive their annual comprehensive visit. They also link members with local resources such as transportation, home health and food assistance, identify Stars gaps and help facilitate closure, and support UHC sales agents.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading critical revenue and membership accounting functions across complex healthcare arrangements, including Medicaid and Medicare Advantage (IE-SNP/ISNP). In addition to technical accounting ownership, this role provides leadership, guidance and oversight to a Senior Accountant supporting revenue and close activities, while driving process improvement and consistency across reporting cycles.
