Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a welcoming, laid-back environment
- Verify customer age and follow all applicable sales regulations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions to enhance their experience
- Educate customers on product features and recommend items based on their needs
- Upsell and suggest complementary products to increase sales
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures and accurate register balancing
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked, including displays and showcases
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and periodic counts
- Stay up to date on new products and trends
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn and follow compliance laws and ID verification procedures
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
