Job Overview:
UWORK is looking for a reliable Compound Operator for a local laboratory. Our client is a full-service Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) focusing on the development and manufacturing of animal health products.
The starting pay for their Compound Operator position is $21.63 per hour, and the schedule is Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
This is a long-term temp position expected to start now and go through May 2026 at least, but temp-to-hire will be considered for the right fit at that time!
Ideal candidates will have:
- legible handwriting
- great attention to detail
- ability to take instruction
- basic math skills
- mechanical aptitude
- ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
Compound Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and maintain cleanliness following approved SOPs of assigned compression equipment/machinery
- Record and document all data by hand in accordance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Complete required training, including compression SOP, cGMP, and safety
Candidates must:
- have High School Diploma or equivalent
- have basic computer skills
- be able to stand for 8 hours
- be able to bend, scoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- wear steel toe shoes and long pants
- not wear makeup, jewelry, or nail/eyelash extensions to work
- adhere to client's attendance policy to maintain employment
Experience in USDA or FDA-regulated/pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufactoring environments a plus but not required!
