What are the responsibilities and job description for the Servicing Audit Specialist position at United Wholesale Mortgage?
The Audit and Private Investor Specialist is a member of the Special Services team within the Servicing division at UWM. This team is responsible for Loan Boarding, MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System), investor requests, all internal and external Servicing Audits and various adhoc requests that enter into the Servicing team. This role is the most experienced non leadership role within the Special Services team with a specific focus on handling all internal and external audit requests as well as all private investor requests and needs.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of Servicing experience or equivalent knowledge
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Excel
- Experience with MSP (Black Knight)
- Strong organizational skills
- High School Diploma
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiar with I Assist, FHA Connection, Valeri, and Docutech, Edge, Ease
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Review and respond to email requests from investors
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports to private investors
- Perform loan level complaint reviews and analysis
- Submit tickets for tracking of open project requests
- Handle all Regulatory updates and validate for the Servicing team
- Organize all responses for all regulatory and state exams
- Update the Subservicer’s systems as needed
- Help Internal Departments with identifying the root cause of errors
- Effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal parties to resolve loan level issues
- Other duties as assigned
