United Way of Pickens County is hiring a full-time Success Coach for our Pathways at Work program. This innovative initiative embeds financial coaching and resource navigation directly inside local companies to support employees facing financial stress or life challenges that affect work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential case management and resource coordination
- Deliver financial coaching including budgeting, credit improvement, and debt management
- Connect employees to community resources such as housing, healthcare, and utilities assistance
- Prepare tax returns through the Free File program during tax season
- Provide year-round support related to tax questions and documentation
- Host financial literacy workshops
- Maintain confidential records and documentation
- Respond to UWPC client calls and walk-ins when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, finance, counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in case management, financial coaching, workforce development, or community resource navigation
- Cultural competence and ability to work across diverse backgrounds
- Ability to obtain IRS VITA certification annually
- Ability to obtain Inform USA Resource Specialist certification
Travel between partner worksites and the UWPC office is required.
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
