Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven professional to serve as a key operational leader within our organization.
This role sits at the center of a small team and plays a critical part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting fundraising campaigns, and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and workplaces.
The ideal candidate is someone who can take direction at a high level, run with it independently, and consistently deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Executive Support
- Manage organizational calendar, scheduling, and internal coordination
- Ensure follow-through on priorities, meetings, and commitments
- Support and help maintain accountability for organizational timelines
- Prepare board and committee materials (agendas, notes, follow-up actions)
- Translate meeting outcomes into completed work products (e.g., policy updates, documents)
Campaign & Workplace Engagement
- Serve as a primary contact for workplace campaigns and community partners
- Conduct outreach to local businesses and organizations
- Coordinate campaign materials, communications, and follow-up
- Track progress and ensure timely execution of fundraising activities
Office & Program Coordination
- Oversee daily office operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
- Support coordination across key initiatives, including:
- Food security programs and related technology
- Shared services initiatives
- VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program
- Disaster response efforts
- Assist with event planning and logistics
Data & Administrative Management
- Maintain donor and partner records in CRM systems
- Process pledges, payments, and campaign documentation
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and organizational materials
Marketing & Communications (Execution Support)
- Maintain social media presence and assist with communications
- Support execution of campaigns and community outreach efforts
What This Role Requires
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ownership and follow-through with minimal supervision
- Confidence communicating with business and community leaders
- Comfort working in a small team with broad responsibilities
- Ability to take an idea or discussion and turn it into a finished, high-quality product
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in operations, administration, nonprofit work, or related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Compensation & Schedule
- Part-time (approximately 30 hours/week)
- $20–$23/hour, depending on experience
- Flexible schedule within standard business hours
