💲 $17/hour | Possible Hybrid after onboarding

United Way of Madison County is seeking a part‑time Case Manager to support RIDE UNITED,

our transportation access initiative helping individuals overcome critical mobility barriers related to work, healthcare, and essential services.

This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate: someone looking to supplement income,

a retired professional, or an experienced case manager who prefers meaningful part‑time work.

This experience is REQUIRED.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary case manager for RIDE UNITED (Lyft Pass) participants
• Review applications, assess eligibility, and approve or deny services
• Provide short‑term, client‑centered case management focused on transportation needs
• Develop personalized transportation plans and monitor client progress
• Issue ride credits and manage cases using the Lyft portal and case management software
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with program data tracking
• Collaborate with internal team members to improve processes and service delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Healthcare, or related field
• OR at least 5 years of case management experience
• Strong communication skills, especially via phone
• Empathy and ability to empower clients
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and case management software
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred
• Ability to work independently with flexibility in a changing environment

Work Details

• Part‑time, non‑exempt (approximately 12 hours/week)
• In‑office during initial onboarding; hybrid/partial remote possible after 90 days
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
