Role Description
The Resource Development and Marketing Manager will lead efforts to develop and maintain community engagement through fundraising, marketing, and resource development strategies. Responsibilities include designing and implementing fundraising campaigns, fostering relationships with donors, businesses and partner agencies, creating marketing materials, preparing reports & other materials to educate & engage the community, managing social media and online presence, organizing events, and representing the United Way in various community initiatives. The position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fulton, NY.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in fundraising strategies, resource development, and campaign management
- Experience in marketing, digital marketing, and managing social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Event planning and coordination experience
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Canva, CRM platforms)
- Must have a college degree with experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and customer service or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of nonprofit and community service organizations preferred
Salary is $45,000 - $50,000/year commensurate with experience.
