The focus of our work is to provide comprehensive high-quality early care and education to low-income families living in this area.

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED and Florida Department of Children and Family (DCF) 45-hour child care training requirement completed.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Teacher/Child Interactions
- Teachers are expected to complete daily observations of children and create daily experience plans that build on children’s prior experiences.
- Encourage and model appropriate behavior and expectations.
- Teachers are responsible for capitalizing on opportunities to help children build vocabulary, by asking the children a series of follow-up questions to get a deeper understanding from the children.
- In collaboration with others in the program, make decisions daily on materials, activities, and environments that provide a balance that supports the child’s learning.
- Responsible for the observation, and documentation of each child’s health, behavior, growth, and development.
- Supervise children, following all safety and health rules for the eight children in the classroom.
- Keep the environment safe, clean organized, and accessible to children.
- Complete appropriate documentation to report incidents and accidents.
