We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. Experience is not required but preferred. We are looking for dependable people willing to rotate on call duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and be proficient in various restoration techniques, including mold remediation, fire restoration, and water damage restoration. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by disasters, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and ready for occupancy.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate damage to properties caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.
- Perform mold remediation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various restoration tasks.
- Conduct water damage restoration procedures, including extraction and drying techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their property and the work being performed.
Skills
- Experience in the restoration industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficient in water damage restoration methods and equipment operation.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience in carpet cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of asbestos abatement procedures is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Clean driving record (minor violations ok)
