The Mitigation Technician assists in cleaning, drying, and restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. This role involves performing hands-on mitigation tasks, setting and monitoring equipment, documenting job progress, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

The Mitigation Technician assists in cleaning, drying, and restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. This role involves performing hands-on mitigation tasks, setting and monitoring equipment, documenting job progress, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
- Set, monitor, and remove mitigation equipment
- Remove affected building materials as needed (carpet, drywall, baseboards, etc.)
- Perform fire/soot cleaning and odor control tasks
- Assist with mold remediation, including containment setup and HEPA cleaning
- Document moisture readings, photos, scope notes, and daily job updates
- Maintain equipment and keep work vehicles stocked and clean
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various jobsite conditions
- IICRC WRT/FSRT/AMRT a plus (not required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
