Project Cost Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site Project Cost Accountant role located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Project Cost Accountant will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting project costs to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with budgets. This includes preparing cost forecasts, monitoring budget performance, reviewing invoices, and assisting with financial documentation required for project accounting. Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with project managers and leadership teams to provide actionable insights for cost management and efficient resource utilization.

• Proficiency in project accounting, cost tracking, and financial analysis
• Ability to prepare and manage cost forecasts, budgets, and reports
• Experience with reviewing invoices, financial documentation, and ensuring compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental teamwork
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
• Previous experience in the utility or construction industry is beneficial
