About The Role
The Business Data Analyst “Power BI Expert” is part of a team responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining the company’s primary Field Data gathering software. The primary focus of this role is to build, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of Power BI reports using data collected from field operations.
This position works extensively within Power BI Online Service Workspaces, managing Dataflows, Semantic Models, Reports, and Apps, and collaborating with internal teams on related reporting initiatives. The role is 100% in-office in Charlotte, NC, allowing for hands-on collaboration and in-person support during onboarding and ongoing work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and validate Power BI reports supporting field operations
- Manage Power BI Service workspaces, including Dataflows, Semantic Models, Reports, and Apps
- Maintain Power BI Apps with defined audiences for report consumption
- Collaborate cross-functionally on Power BI reporting needs
- Assist with the management of multiple company Power BI workspaces
- Develop training documentation and conduct hands-on and Microsoft Teams-based training sessions
- Provide technical assistance via phone or digital communication
- Travel periodically to field locations to support training and user adoption
- Highschool Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree and 3-5 years of experience or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or related field with 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience with Power Bi development, data analysis, and reporting
- Possesses advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
