Job Overview
As an Assistant Parts Store Manager, you’ll help lead daily parts operations, support sales, and keep inventory accurate and accessible. You’ll work with customers and the store team to identify the right parts and accessories, fulfill orders, and deliver clear, dependable service. This hands-on role combines retail leadership, heavy duty truck parts knowledge, and organized store operations.
Responsibilities
- Support sales management by coaching team members, assisting with sales, and building strong customer relationships.
- Help manage inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and point-of-sale (POS) transactions; and Microsoft Office as needed.
- Assist customers with parts selection using knowledge of heavy truck parts and accessories, maintenance, and repair.
- Oversee the cashiering and cash handling accurately; apply retail math and follow store procedures.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers, use negotiation skills when appropriate, and maintain professional phone etiquette.
- Your impact: Accurate parts guidance and order fulfillment help customers and complete maintenance and repairs with confidence.
Requirements
- Customer service, communication, organizational, and client communication skills; able to manage competing store priorities.
- Experience or knowledge in parts management, sales, and inventory management.
- Comfortable with math, POS systems (Karmak a plus!), cash handling, stocking, and order fulfillment; Microsoft Office experience is useful.
- Dealership experience is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 per week
