What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver Recruiter position at UNITED TRANSPORT?
The primary function of this position will be generating and managing new CDL Driver leads, educating them about our company, and assisting in Retention.Proactively source active and passive candidates; including but not limited to employee referrals, walk-in applicants, rehires, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Engaging with the industry and prospects across online platforms to generate leads Managing and processing all new leads
* Developing relationships with leads and culturing a relationship leading to a hire Manage and assist in Driver Retention for the company through driver engagement and communication.
* Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures, especially in Operations, Safety, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Payroll.
Ideal Qualifications:
High School Diploma with some secondary education or experience in business, accounting, or related field.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Required experience:
Previous Trucking/ Logistics experience.
Previous CDL driving experience is a plus
Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations is a plus
