NOW HIRING – Industrial Fab Shop Electrician

Location: West Point, MS
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Fab Shop Electrician to support the fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing of industrial electrical systems and control panels. This position is ideal for electricians with experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, control panel fabrication, and equipment integration.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels and electrical enclosures

• Install and terminate power, control, and instrumentation wiring

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

• Install electrical components including relays, PLCs, VFDs, disconnects, and terminal blocks

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections of completed assemblies

• Assist with electrical integration of industrial process equipment

• Maintain compliance with NEC standards, company procedures, and safety requirements

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience

• Experience building or wiring industrial control panels preferred

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings

• Knowledge of motor controls, PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• OSHA 10 certification preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fabrication shop environment

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
