What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic with Fabrication Experience position at United Tank Trailer?
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Heavy-Duty Trailer Mechanic to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy-duty trailers. You will play a key role in keeping our new and used trailers safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Duties include:
- Diagnose and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspensions, axles, lighting, and hydraulics.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on trailers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete repair orders, document work performed, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient turnaround times.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Trailer Mechanic, Truck/Trailer Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, electrical wiring, and suspensions.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset. (MIg & Tig)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
