United Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Machine Operator to join a fast-paced plastics manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, maintaining product quality, and addressing basic machine issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and works well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operated assigned production machinery
- Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting (with training)
- Monitor product quality and report defects or issues to supervision or Quality Control
- Load raw materials and replenish packaging supplies as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Assist team members and provide coverage on Production Line during breaks when required
- Follow production orders and safety procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and required training
Shift & Pay:
- 1st Shift: $14.00/hr | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: $14.50/hr | 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: $15.00/hr | 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Rotating days off (5 days on / 2 days off)
Requirements:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic measuring tools
- Must complete required machine training prior to operation
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25-50 lbs
