USPI Texas Endoscopy East, is seeking a motivated Procedure Room (GI) RN to join our team. Texas Endoscopy East is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Job Summary: The O.R. Circulator Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager. It is his/her responsibility to formulate and execute the nursing care for his/her patients to ensure that the patient receives the highest quality of care, that their safety is ensured according to the Policies and Procedures, and to instigate and execute all other tasks as requested by the Clinical Manager. The registered nurse is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and maintains a current license. He/she will exhibit clinical skills to practice nursing to provide appropriate patient care in the operating room/ Endoscopy room.

Qualifications:
- Requires a degree or diploma from an accredited two-, three-, or four-year school of nursing with active registration from the Board of Nurse Registration and Nurse Education from the state.
- Requires certification as a Basic Life Support Provider.
- Requires ability to see, speak, and hear due to patient care responsibilities.
- Requires the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Requires analytical and organizational skills, effective communication skills, problem solving abilities and assertiveness.
- Completes appropriate tests applicable to R.N. and to O.R. department.
