Insurance Verifier at Harbor Heights Surgery Center
- Interface with patients and families, physicians, and staff.
- Update patient demographics/information in the system.
- Verify insurance benefits, obtaining proper authorization from the insurance carrier.
- Determine what funds to collect upon admission.
- Notify patients of monies due and document in billing system.
- Other duties as required or requested by chain of command.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years’ previous experience preferred
- Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
- Medical terminology and computer experience are beneficial
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge-Word and Excel preferred

Salary : $20 - $27
