The Director, Managed Care Finance oversees and provides analytical support for the assessment, negotiation, administration, and maintenance of managed care contracts for all USPI OP Centers. This position provides contract modeling and financial analyses functions. Must be able to complete and lead analytical projects under time-sensitive deadlines. This position will report to Sr. Director, Managed Care Finance.

- Lead and create pricing analyses to support the negotiation and implementation of reimbursement rates and associated contract language.
- Review and accurately interpret contract financial terms.
- Oversee and prepare contract modeling and complex analyses with high degrees of accuracy and efficiency.
- Works closely with managed care negotiation teams to support negotiations and decision-making.
- Prepares and maintains contractual rates; works closely with Managed Care Operations team to ensure successful contract implementation and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, healthcare management or related field.
- 5 years financial analysis in healthcare industry.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and coding (DRG, APC, CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10) required.
- Solid understanding of key business drivers.
- Strong organizational skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrates a high level of critical thinking.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
