Job Summary:
- The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
- Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
- Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

Required Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required
- CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
- 1-2 years of SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.
- Experience with ordering preferred.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.
