- Analyze data to develop ideas and support decisions relevant to the delivery of sterile processing services.
- Identify expected outcomes for sterile processing services.
- Develop the strategic plan and processes to attain expected outcomes for sterile processing services.
- Implement the strategic plan and processes for sterile processing services within the organizational structure.
- Coordinate implementation of sterile processing services using human and capital resources.
- Employ strategies to promote workplace safety and health in the sterile processing areas.
- Communicate the identified plan for sterile processing services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the sterile processing services strategic plan toward achieving desired outcomes.
- Guide quality improvement of sterile processing services using key indicators.

- High School Diploma / GED
- Two years varied perioperative services experience or recent clinical hours
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of Sterile Processing Educational program
- Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT), or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required.
