Job Summary
- The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
- The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
- The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must have at least 1-3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
- Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
